The fragmented space in front of the station currently hinders the flow of urban life. Pedestrian movement is disrupted by parked cars and traffic, severing the natural links between tram, bus and rail.
This proposal aims to restore continuity. It creates a seamless and dignified threshold for public transport — a place that feels both calm and dynamic, safe yet vibrant.
The station becomes more than a transit point. It’s a public forum where students, workers, families and elders converge. While they wait, they are offered more than just shelter — services that invite them to linger and to return.
Inside, the ground floor hosts small local businesses — a café, a hardware shop, hair and nail salons — accessible straight from the street. The upper floors unfold into a generous restaurant atrium and a capsule hotel for late arrivals and weary travelers, its rooms rising above the roofline to capture views of the city.

A forgotten stretch along the Vltava river—scarred yet full of promise—calls for revival. Its proximity to the river hints at a future shaped by movement, leisure and nature.
The design introduces a cohesive urban block structure, punctuated by strong, legible landmarks that anchor orientation and define identity. Within this framework, green corridors are reconnected to form a living ecosystem—oven into the urban fabric.
Careful attention was given to massing, transparency and how built forms shape daily experience. Public spaces are choreographed to invite interaction, reflection and a renewed sense of belonging.
The design honours existing communities while bridging sport, culture and infrastructure—transforming an overlooked site into a sustainable and spirited part of the city.
